Second Galaxy brings us a few puzzles that can drive us batty when we don’t know the answers. With the X Missions, you’re sitting in space, vulnerable to attacks but the rewards are too good to pass up. In the wormhole, the wrong answer could leave you without your shields! Therefore, we bring you one place where you can find the “cheats” for the puzzles!

X Missions

Puzzle Box

The puzzle box is fairly simple if you understand it. Each interaction with the beacon will light the other beacons it touches … either to the right, left, top, or bottom. However, the fewer tries you do and the speed will give you a higher reward. 0 designates that a beacon is lit and the green boxes are the beacons you interact with.

Ring Puzzle

The ring puzzle is slightly more complicated. You will see red and blue lights. This puzzle solution is easiest read if you look at the chart and make sure the beacon you click on (before hitting the gear to interact) matches the location of the number on the solution. There are clockwise and counter-clockwise cogs, so just match the code at the top with the correct cog.

Wormhole Cheats

Abandoned Outpost

Abandoned Outposts are one of the buff sites in a wormhole. When answered correctly, you will be given a range boost. However, if you answer incorrectly, the outpost will explode and destroy the shields of any ship in the zone. The numbers in bold writing are the answers based on the sequence of numbers you are presented. Go SLOW when you are clicking through the options so you know when to select the answer.

Lost Dalex

The Lost Dalex is another buff site. When answered correctly, your volume factor is reduced by 20%. While I am posting answers here for this site, I have come across this site a few times with none of the above answers. Therefore, I’m also going to walk you through how to solve it if you want to take the time.

When you interact with a beacon, it will change the status of the beacon you interact with and the one to the right and left of it. In many cases, it is easier to turn the beacons off and then select beacon 2 and 5.

  • 000001 → Beacon 1, Beacon 4
  • 001100 → Beacon 1, Beacon 6
  • 100101 (may be displayed as 110101) → Beacon 3, Beacon 2, Beacon 1, Beacon 4
