Now that you know your way around your base, it is time to start looking at joining a corp and getting involved. The first step is actually joining a corp. We, obviously, strongly recommend ATLS or Atls for the choice. Once you have joined Atlas, we suggest joining our discord channel. It is not required, but it will make things easier for us to teach you further, answer questions, and let you know about corp activities.

Corp Activity Menu

When you are looking for corp activities, you will want to access the corp button from your main menu (shown above with red underline). You will see that you have several menus pop up.

Info

On the information page, you will find:

  • Membership
  • Corp message board
  • Diplomacy
  • Management
  • Recent News
  • Location of home base

This main screen is what anyone can see from any corporation. They will not be able to have access to the member list or the diplomacy, and instead of “management,” they will see “stand.” The corp rating is calculated by the number of facilities your corp owns, the prosperity of the owned systems, and level of those facilities. Being involved in your corporation will help raise the level of activity and the rating through your donations and sov operations.

Special Ops

Special Ops are a type of operation that rotate every week, and are done in teams. There are 9 total challenges available and you want to hit the full 100 points to get max rewards. We will cover this more in depth in the tutorial section on different ops available.

Corp Quest

Corp quests are missions that are started by directors of your corp. These can be specific ops that are done with large groups, but the most common is the “Charging the Machine.” This quest allows you to farm for materials semi-safely as the machine is charging. Anyone in your corp can come and go from the machines, and it will end once the machine is fully charged.

Benefits

Benefits is probably the best page for corp membership. This is where you get to see the corp points you earn through daily rewards, people purchasing packs, and intel rewards from missions being accomplished. Members can claim the rewards every week as milestones are reached. These points are obtained through wormhole, encounters, and exploration quests. While the corp rewards are based on how many solar systems and their sovereignty level that the corp owns. The higher the maintenance, the more it takes from the corp, but the better the rewards are overall. These corp points that you earn can be used in the corp store.

Fleets

Corporations can have up to 10 fleets active at a time. Members can create a fleet, but directors have the ability to delete them to make space for other uses. These fleets can be posted in corp or alliance chat so members in other corps of your alliance can join them. We will discuss this further when we talk about fleet roles and activities.

Sovereignty

The sovereignty tab in this corp menu is where you can see the last battles declared on your corp, or your corp declared on others. You will be able to see what the result was (including seeing the ship loss, shot down reports, and rankings when you click on individual wars).

Corp Donation/Comps

In the bottom left of your screen, next to the three line tab, lies another corp menu. This is where you will find corp property, warehouse, compensation, production, and overall sovereignty menu. As a member of the corp, the three areas you will want to know will be the Warehouse, Compensation, and Sovereignty.

Corp Warehouse

The corp warehouse is where you are able to donate gala to your corp balance. You will see a running total of other donors and their amounts. You will also receive corp points for donating gala! It is important to donate what you can without hurting your growth, because this money goes into compensating losses during PvP encounters.

Compensation

Well, the worst thing that could happen, happens … you got shot down by an enemy player. Unlike getting shot down by the NPCs in PvE, PvP play allows for compensation of your ship. This is when you can post your loss for others in the corp to compensate your ship, everything on it, and the ammo you used. The actual posting of your ship is done through an application process. This means, you can put your ship in for compensation, but the leader could decide that it is not eligible. However, in most cases, ships lost in sov ops are eligible for compensation.

You can also compensate parts of your teammates ships for corp points in this section as well. They will get a notification of who compensated what and you will receive corp points. What is not compensated by members is often filled by the corp wallet (again why you want to help donate to the warehouse).

Once a ship is compensated, the owner will receive and email letting them know it has been finished. This is when you will want to remove it from your hanger. Leave it up until you have everything comped.

Sovereignty

The sovereignty tab in the corp menu will show you the systems that you own, including the facilities inside that system. When you own a system (control the Central Control Hub), you can put out facilities. These facilities include the refinery which will load minerals on a weekly basis. Systems with a lower prosperity level will yield lower quality minerals, while the higher prosperity level systems will yield higher qualities. These minerals are then used in corp business. Corporations will start with building a level 1 facility and then upgrade it for extra bonuses. You can read more on corp systems and global sovereignty maps for advanced understanding.
