Understanding corp systems is not absolutely required for growing your base, but it does help with knowing how the corporation works.

System Level

There are different system levels, as you see on the map labeled as prosperity level. Refineries in all systems will yield minerals, but the quality will improve with higher prosperity levels.

  • Low levels – White minerals
  • Level 38 – One green OR two white
  • Level 44 – One blue (max level) OR two lower quality blue
  • Level 47 – One purple (max level) OR two lower quality purple
  • Level 49 – One gold (max level) OR two lower quality gold

These minerals are used in corp business, where materials can be bought and sold.

System Map

On the corp sov map, you will see buildings (facilities) instead of planets. When you run a corp, you will need to first construct a SS Base. All of the other facilities cannot exceed the level of the base. When you click on the map and then click on the base, you will have the option to see the details.

The same information can be found on each of the facilities in your corp system.

  • Refineries – Mineral production and transporting
  • Assembly Center – Manufactures structure cores and capital ships (boosts production rates)
  • Watchtower – Scouts pilots positions inside system and allows you to warp to them (higher the level, better the signal and tracking)
  • Capital Shipyard – Hangars for the capital ships
  • Trade Port – Where trading can be done in corp business
  • Jump Portal Generator – Opens jump portals allowing pilots to skip through systems for faster travel across the map (must have another jump portal within range to jump – higher the level, the larger the radius)
  • Jump Portal Inhibitor – When activated, prevents ships from using the portal

When a facility is destroyed or retrieved, you have to rebuild it as a level one and then upgrade. Downgrading is possible, but difficult. It is easier to retrieve a facility that is too high and then rebuild it to achieve the desired level.
