v0.2.1 – Updates, Fixes and Enhancements.

This patch adds in some fixes and gameplay improvements based on early tester feedback from the Alpha 1 test phase.

Fixes:

  • Fixed bank tab to show completed job transaction updates when completing jobs and the bank tab is open.
  • Fixed issue when setting up colonies outside gvmt space not returning the correct amount.
  • Stopped the same job being accepted more than once.
  • Fixed first jump to an unexplored system – this will now work as it should.
  • Fixed an issue where jobs could be cancelled and regenerated over and over until good jobs were found.
  • Ship Hulls on the market now show at the correct JAS when viewed from anywhere outside Naltara.
  • Fixed bug with applying rotation to ship graphic when docking, landing, or jumping.
  • Fixed double/nested scrollbars issue in Ship Info cargo area.
  • Fixed bug where galaxy map would remain visible during a jump hiding the jump information.
  • Fixed bug with repairing parts where uninstalling a part would allow it to be repaired more that is should, recovering some of the red “degraded” hit points.
  • Fixed bug in ship yard where components dragged into the ship could show in both the ship and facility lists before confirming the changes.
  • Fixed memory leak with Ship audio.
  • Fixed error with updating distances to Player while docking/undocking.

Enhancements:

  • Updated formatting when loading the transaction list or no records are returned from the banking services.
  • Can now see ships in the stored assets.
  • Increased the number of flatpacks, ship parts and resources available at station/starbase markets.
  • Ensured all Service parts can be repaired to 100% always (we don’t want new players getting stuck!)
  • Added information to the job board to show when the maximum jobs have been accepted + disabled the “accept” button when maximum jobs have been accepted.
  • Increased the chance of System Bodies generating in systems by 5% for all star types (still low chances for places like Black Holes though!)
  • Updated the maintenance cost to be half what it was before.
  • Can now delete job cargo.
  • Part costs now reduced to half what they were before.
  • Updated all mini icons to have consistent default, hover, and disabled states.
  • Clear system explorer search when jumping or undocking so that all system objects are visible.
  • Display bank, mail, and scan results dates in the users local timezone.
  • Added the ability to self destruct your current ship while in space. Results in respawn at last clone (or starting) location.
  • Added ability to collapse cargo section in ship info panel the same way as the ship components section works.
  • Doubled max acceleration rate and velocity for all ships.
